Gentle yoga
Sound healing (Tibetan bowls)
Breathing practices
Core Strength

These practices will be taught in a manner accessible to all
-- suitable for beginners and more experienced yogis.

The
loving-kindness meditation will be led by Alicia Perillo. Alicia has been practicing mindfulness and loving-kindness meditation since 1999. The meditation will focus on the practice of Metta, the Pail word for loving-kindness. (Pali was the ancient language in which the Buddha taught.) Metta practice consists of:

Loving-Kindness
Compassion
Sympathetic Joy
Equanimity

The Metta practice will consist of a guided meditation for the first 15 minutes and then a silent sit for the final 5-10 minutes.

These practices are offered freely. Donations to the Philadelphia Meditation Center which has generously donated their space and teacher donations will be appreciated.
